The sweet pastimes of Lord Krishna came out to be repeated in ISME Navi Mumbai with the grand celebration of dahi handi on 4th September, 2010. The day was filled with lot of joy and excitement. It was well prepared in advance by the social group members. The preparations were on right from the day the two Govinda teams of 16 boys each came out to be formed.The Saturday morning was a jolly and a pleasant one, as many of the non social club members were also into the preparations. Finally came that hour when the whole ISME family gathered together, where the handi was tied right up. The 2 groups left no stone unturned in their efforts. Finally, one of the group was successful in breaking the handi. This being the very first celebration at ISME Navi Mumbai will be remembered as a remarkable day.
The learning’s from the events were:
1) How the layers provide the strength.
2) To climb up the ladder, one must keep oneself light.
