FINANCIAL EXPRESS ‘COMPANY ANALYSIS’ COMPETITION AT ISME

FINANCIAL EXPRESS and ISME organized a competition on Company analysis of Kingfisher Airlines at ISME, Navi Mumbai on the 16th March 2012. The event was coordinated by Prof. Jharna Lulla and the academic club members. The event was judged by a very experienced member of Financial Express Mr.P Subramanium and our esteemed faculty Prof. Jeetendra Singh. Students were screened for this competition from which 4 teams comprising 2 members each were selected for this competition. The company analyzed by the teams was Kingfisher Airlines for the obvious reasons of its turmoil these days. The teams gave presentations covering the company overview, problem identification, detailed analysis of the problem and recommendations for Kingfisher Airlines that were highly appreciated by the judges. The teams were judged on the parameters of content, analysis and sequence, creativity, delivery and presentation skills and time management. Our honorable judge Mr. Subramanium expressed that his experience was amazing. The team that stood 1st was of Manasi Warde and Dimple Bherwani followed by Sharmistha Ghosh and Siddhartha Singh standing 2nd and Manisha Gathala and Chandni Shah standing 3rd. Manasi warde also won the “Best speaker” award. What an exciting event it was truly, All of us put in a lot of hard work for this event and learnt so many things about the Kingfisher crisis.
