EFMD Accreditation

The International School of Management Excellence (ISME) proudly stands among the distinguished institutions accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). This prestigious international recognition reflects ISME’s commitment to academic excellence, global standards in management education, industry-oriented learning, and continuous institutional development.

NVT–ISME Research Grant Initiative

The NVT–ISME Research Grant has been introduced to promote practice-oriented and interdisciplinary research focused on advancing Organizational Excellence. Through this initiative, ISME and the NVT Group aim to encourage research that generates actionable insights, strengthens leadership effectiveness, drives innovation, and supports sustainable organizational practices

ISME Bangalore successfully conducted the first Two-Day Campus Immersion Programme for the Diploma in Professor of Practice – Batch III (April 2026 – September 2026) on 22nd and 23rd May 2026. The programme was designed to

collaborative learning, encourage networking , and professional development among participants aspiring to transition into academia.

The immersive experience included engaging activities such as JAM sessions, panel discussions, communication skills training, and one-on-one academic and career planning sessions with the ISME panel. Participants also had the opportunity to interact with distinguished industry and academic leaders who shared valuable insights on leadership, communication, and academic excellence.

The International School of Management Excellence successfully hosted the Board of Studies (BOS) 2026 – Curriculum Review Meeting on 16th May 2026, bringing together distinguished leaders from industry and academia to shape the future of management education. Representatives from organizations including JPMorgan Chase, EY, Aon, Reliance Industries, Godrej Group, Acer, Grant Thornton, Coforge, Quess Corp, Indian Institute of Science, and Biocon participated in discussions focused on strengthening the PGDM curriculum with industry relevance, future-ready skills, and leadership-focused learning.

The International School of Management Excellence, Bangalore, successfully celebrated International Day 2K26, bringing together the vibrant cultures and traditions of more than 40 countries under one roof. The event highlighted the spirit of unity in diversity through cultural presentations, interactive activities, and global engagement.

Mr. Tomoyuki Yamato, CEO of YAMATO LLC and Director at Nunam, Bengaluru, along with other distinguished guests from Germany and the Netherlands, graced the occasion . The event reflected ISME’s commitment to nurturing global mindsets and creating an inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

ISME’s BBA and BCom students secured the Best Paper Award at Techvergence 2026, hosted by Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies on 21st April 2026, competing alongside participants from 21 colleges.

The award-winning research paper, “Behavioral Finance: Understanding Investor Psychology in Volatile Markets,” showcased insightful analysis on investor behavior and decision-making in dynamic financial environments.

Congratulations to Vaishali Vidjean, Shreesha Agarwal, and Kushi Achwani for this remarkable academic achievement and for representing ISME with excellence.

ISME Academic Excellence

The Department of External Relations at ISME Bangalore organized an international guest lecture for THWS Germany on the topic “India as a Culture Mosaic: Navigating the Complexities of Indian Consumer Behavior.” The session was delivered by Dr. Haritha S, who provided valuable insights into the diversity of Indian consumer markets and the cultural influences shaping purchasing behavior.

The lecture explored themes such as consumer segmentation, festive buying patterns, frugality, and value-conscious purchasing behavior in India. Through real-world examples from brands including Chumbak, Paper Boat, Gillette, McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, Ponds, and Whisper, participants gained an understanding of how organizations adapt their products and marketing strategies for diverse Indian markets. The session concluded with an engaging interactive discussion and Q&A, offering participants meaningful insights into culturally sensitive marketing and consumer engagement strategies.

ISME Bangalore successfully conducted a One-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Administrative Excellence in the Digital Age: Advanced Excel & Word Automation,” led by Dr. Nitin Garg. The session focused on enhancing operational efficiency and digital skills among faculty and staff through practical training in advanced Excel functions and Word automation techniques.

Participants engaged in hands-on learning activities aimed at improving data management, streamlining routine administrative processes, and increasing documentation efficiency. The FDP reflected ISME’s commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and process innovation in an evolving digital academic environment.

ISME Bangalore organized a One-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Administrative Excellence in the Digital Age” as part of its commitment to continuous learning and digital transformation. The programme focused on enhancing professional growth, technology adoption, and digital capabilities among faculty and staff.

A special session on Strategic LinkedIn Usage was conducted by Suma Annegowda, where participants learned how to build a strong professional presence, improve personal branding, and use LinkedIn effectively for networking and knowledge sharing. The programme provided practical insights and tools that can create meaningful impact in academic and administrative environments while reinforcing ISME’s focus on future-ready professional development.

Six students from ISME Bangalore participated in the prestigious Foundations of Management (FoM) Programme hosted by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 27th April to 1st May 2026. The five-day residential programme brought together 49 final-year undergraduate students from different parts of India, providing them with valuable academic and leadership exposure.

The programme offered students an opportunity to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, exchange ideas, and experience the dynamic learning environment at IIM Bangalore. The initiative reflects ISME’s commitment to providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities that help students broaden their perspectives and prepare for future leadership roles

ISME Bangalore congratulates Anand Kumar and co-author Dr. Bharathi Ravishankar on the successful publication of their research paper titled “A Conceptual Study of Evolutionary Algorithms and Their Role in Modern Optimization Techniques” in the Journal of Novel Research and Innovative Development (JNRID), an international peer-reviewed journal.

participated in the EFMD Symposium 2026 hosted at IIM Bangalore, providing an enriching platform for academic learning and professional networking. The symposium brought together distinguished academic leaders and representatives from leading B-schools across India and abroad.

The event featured insightful panel discussions on contemporary topics including AI in management education, reimagining internationalisation, and the impact of research on practice. The symposium offered valuable perspectives, meaningful interactions, and key takeaways aligned with the evolving landscape of management education.

ISME Bangalore congratulates Mr. Ankit Sharma for successfully attending the 5-day Residential Summer Research Methodology Workshop at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Dr. Neelima Dubey has been recognized by GKSSS, in collaboration with Pondicherry University, Bharat, for her significant contribution to Hindi Literature. The recognition honors her continuous efforts in organizing International and National Seminars, authoring reference books for Hindi research scholars, and teaching Hindi across different states of India for the past 29 years.

Dr. Neelima Dubey received the Best Paper Award (श्रेष्ठ शोध-पत्र पुरस्कार) at the One-Day National Hindi Conference organized by REVA University, Bengaluru. Her award-winning research paper focused on the theme “कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता के परिप्रेक्ष्य में हिन्दी की संभावनाएं” (The Prospects of Hindi in the Context of Artificial Intelligence).

The conference highlighted insightful discussions on the intersection of language, technology, and modern research journalism. This recognition reflects Dr. Neelima Dubey’s valuable contribution to Hindi research and her continued commitment to academic excellence.
