Once again we are honored to be hosting the 9th International Conference on 'Contemporary Issues in Management'.  In this two day event, key note address was given by Dr. Zhixin Kang, University of North Carolina on the first day and Dr. George Sayegh, Dean, Westcliff University and many other eminent speakers.

We are one of the few institutions in the country to follow the calendar as scheduled without compromising quality education for all our students.  We had a farewell party for students of PGDM 2019-21 batch on Saturday, 20th March, 2021.

Mr. Amit Sarawagi, Audit Practice Leader, GT Shared Services – Grant Thornton LLP, shared his knowledge on the recent technologies for our students.  He highlighted the importance of collecting, analyzing and using data in the current fast-moving result-oriented world.

Prof. Nima Salami, Assistant Professor, College of Business, Westcliff University, USA shared his knowledge to our students about ‘Hollow Marketing and Nongredients: A new marketing approach by food industries in advertising’, which is a new strategy implemented by the food industry and its social and economic consequences.

Mr. Bobby Jacob, former General Manager, Serum Institute shared his knowledge to our students on the importance of General Management in an organization.  He also threw more light on the diverse and multifarious field of Management as well as the need and importance of proper experience and knowledge.

While global economy anticipates a 5.5% growth this year, its sudden cessation due to the pandemic in 2020 continues to impact market conditions today.  She discussed ‘Global Economic Conditions during COVID-19 Times’ with the students pursuing Managerial Economics.

Mr. Kishore Rajgopal, founder and CEO of NextOrbit, recently graced our students with his presence for an unforgettable guest lecture on the topic of “Corporate Governance and Compliance”.

Mr. Deepesh Singh, Lead Data Scientist in A.P.Moller-Maersk, as well as an industry expert in providing analytical solutions to complex business problems in a variety of business verticals like CPG, Media and Entertainment, Network Infrastructure, Marketing, Energy and Aero-structures shared his knowledge to our students.

We organized an International Alumni Conference for students who have completed Term 5 and are looking for jobs. We were delighted to have one of our alumni, Mr. Vivek Goyal, joining us online from Hong Kong and sharing his insightful career story with the participants.

Our alumni, Mr. Lohith Ramachandra has ranked 46th among the top 100 pioneers in India for his extraordinary contributions to the country’s digital ecosystem. His name was enlisted in Impact Digital Power’s final list, along with 99 other leaders who have impacted a change. He is presently working as the General Manager Marketing in Swiggy.

Good things happen when multiple clubs join hands together. CSR club, along with Literary club, created a great initiative by creating awareness to public on corona vaccination through a public street play.
