After the end of the very successful orientation week at ISME Navi Mumbai, the fun trip was organised on 7th August, 2010. This was in the form of Mumbai Darshan, specially as the majority of the students were not Mumbaikars. All the 43 students had a very good reason to enjoy the trip and enjoy the beauty of Mumbai, which was perhaps only heard by them. The bus started at 9 am sharp, went across the streets of Mumbai, passing through the spots like BSE, aquarium and Ranibaug which were seen by each one of the students from within the bus.
It was the time when they started getting more and more enthusiastic. The bus first stopped at The Gateway Of India, people got down, had fun while boating and vigorously took snaps of the 2 Taj buildings. The next stop was at Hanging Garden, where lunch was arranged. The bus then went across the streets of Bandra, where bunglows of popular celebrities also were seen.
All were then taken to Juhu ISKCON, where they had darshan and variety of prasadam snacks. The last spot was Juhu Beach, where the students let their hair down, which was clearly visible as they all were bonding, wet and full of mud. This was the first step for students to set to know each other better and spend a memorable day together.
