The renowned author and former IIM-B finance professor, Dr. PRASANNA CHANDRA’s visit to ISME campus to deliver a session on “Strategy, Finance and Value” received an overwhelming response from the student and faculty community of ISME.
Dr. Chandra speech was designed in the form of a case study, where he used Warren Buffet’s BerkShire Hathaway as an organisation that delivered the highest value to its owners by following the eight value levers – Strategy & Business Model, Capital Allocation, Strategic Financing and Distribution Decisions, Performance Management, Cost Management, Corporate Risk Management, M&A and restructuring and Corporate Governance.
Dr. Chandra’s sharing of interactions with the legendary Warren buffet in itself was sufficient enough to create curious learning opportunity for students.
Dr. Chandra, upon request spent sometime to answer questions from students and the class was inquisitively involved.
While appreciating the campus infrastructure and dedicated faculty members, Dr. Chandra spent quality time with students and faculties at ISME.
Overall, it was one of the fruitful day for ISMEians to have the eminent personality on campus.
