The 3rd round of the weekly newspaper quiz was held on 2nd march, 2012, Friday. The quiz was based on current affairs from financial express. The quiz was organised by the winners of last quiz Thushara Vasudevan and Chandni Shah. 6 teams participated in quiz.The Quiz was divided into three (3) rounds. First round was rapid fire round in which 5 questions were asked to each team. The questions were included full forms, taglines, who is who, economic based questions and general news where four teams went further. Second round of quiz was based on major news in corporate world like mergers, acquisitions, financial position of company etc. Two questions were asked per team and they were also given one life line. 3 teams went further in third round who were asked to identify the news from linking pictures of various news events shown. Two questions were asked to each team and the best team was selected i.e Sharmistha Ghosh, Namita Shetty and Shashank Shrivastava.
