During the 25th Indo-Thai Entrepreneurs’ Summit, held at Bangkok, Thailand on 27th August 2010, International School of Management Excellence (ISME) bagged the prestigious ‘International Achievers Award for Education Excellence’. Mr. Nitin Garg, Director ISME, received the award from, Hon’ble ex- deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Khun Mechai Viravaidya, and Dr. Kiran Bedi of India during a glittering ceremony held at the Hotel Grand Millennium, Sukhumvit. The other eminent guests who graced the function included “The Hon’ble Ambassador of India in Thailand, Mr. H.E. Pinak Ranjan Chakravarthy”.
The yearly summit is jointly organized by Indian Achievers Forum and the India-Thai Chamber of Commerce. These awards recognize outstanding contributions to the society in various fields like education, health, engineering, social services etc.
Dr.Kiran Bedi and Mr. Khun Mechai Viravaidya also addressed the summit members. Dr. Bedi emphasized the need to make India’s amazing growth story inclusive of its underprivileged and impoverished. Mr. Khun Mechai Viravaidya reiterated the need for strengthening of trade relations between India and Thailand. He invited Indian Corporate to establish base in Thailand for fostering the economic growth of both the nations.
