TEACHERS’ DAY

Teachers have an influencing role in the life of every student. They are like beacons of light, guiding us in the formative years of our life. Teachers mould us and in the process shape our future. What we learn from our teachers remains with us, throughout our life.

The students and teachers of International School of Management Excellence (ISME), Navi Mumbai, celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2010.

The program began with a ‘Thank you’ activity in which Rameshwar Lal, one of the students elaborated the slogan “Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara; Guru Sakshath Parambrahma, Tasmay Shri Guruve Namaha.” Some surprise games like musical chairs, dumb-charads were planned by social group members which enlightened the celebration with fun and joy. All teachers also shared their experience with us and were very much involved in the celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Last but not the least Prof.Suman presented a dance performance on a rajasthani song, “Ghoomar”, and Prof.Jharna showed us her hidden talent by performing a classical dance on “O, Re Piya!” After all the activities and entertainment, the cake was cut by the faculty members. It was truly a day to remember for the entire ISME family.
